Remember, Parents Hold The Power In An IEP Meeting
As a parent in an IEP meeting, remember;
- Ask a lot of questions…
- Advocate positive change…
- Understand the proposed plan in its entirety before leaving the room.
Though it’s easy to feel overwhelmed and intimidated during an IEP meeting, it’s important to remember that as a parent you hold the power.
Discuss your concerns and ask questions until you feel 100% confident that the proposed plan is the best course of action for your child.
